Many thx to everyone. I finally got the loco to join. I think I overlooked the trap points and didnt lock them closed. THe loco and the train did a Hokey Koky dance for some time before they finally decided to join.

I don't recall that being an issue and you should have already notied an issue with 6S99-0956 by now. Please let me know if you see an issue with any loco changes.I have just completed the 6S99 loco change on the base timetable without any issues. Really enjoying these timetables, thanks. On the 'through line stop' topic, there's a few missing from the 1996 timetable as well. I don't have reporting codes to hand, sorry, but it's those booked crew change on the GL/SL at Warrington. Log in to reply |

AlexH in post 147145 said:Really enjoying these timetables, thanks.Thank you, both for the kind words and the alert. I think there are six trains affected: 6E95-0204 (00.00 timetable only) 7M62MX-0521 6F69-0914 6E64-0952 6V23MWFO-1755 6E97-2217 The work-around is the same as 1977. Add a tick for each train to the "through lne stop" box at Warrington BQ. A new version 1.2 will be issued in due course adding the fixes. Log in to reply |

Two additional "nits" noticed in testing the 1977 timetable today. There is a note in the timetable "issues" section stating that trains into Dallam (steel) terminal have to reverse at Warrington Bank Quay. That was true when this timetable was written, but updates to the simulation now allow trains to reverse at WN173 (wrong direction signal by the "Dallam Sidings" label), which is close enough to being the ground frame present in 1977. This is purely a text change - the trains perform as desired right from the base timetable version. On Mondays only, the DPU that forms 5J28MO-0430/4J28MO-0500 needs to use bay platform 3 at Wigan rather than 2. There should be ample room in platform 2, but the simulation software thinks otherwise. Both to be included in V1.2 fixes. Log in to reply The following users said thank you: bossman, norman B |

V1.2 timetables are now available for the 1977 timetable and both 1996 versions. In each case, all bugs identified so far in this thread have been fixed. Thanks for your help identifying issues, kind words and patience! The attached picture looking south from Winwick Jn in August 1979 is a bijou bonus! Post has attachments. Log in to view them. One question I have - what period was the Newton-le-Willows Motorail terminal operational? Considering it was wired when the WCML was I thought it would have seen use in this TT

7P08MX-0631 is booked to enter at 0631, but has a rule meaning it must wait until 45 minutes after 7P48-1645 leaves the area - 7P48 as the ID suggests doesn't even enter until 1645, leaving at 1649 so 7P08 enters almost 12 late. The crew waiting at Wigan must be fuming!

Feel free to delete it, as I'll do in an updated version at some point. Log in to reply |

Bickershaw colliery called up asking for permission for 9H27 to enter but it hasn't appeared, 0H27 had been sent and arrived but I did notice that after it had done so I re-set the single line to clear, should it have been left showing occupied in order for 9H27 to appear?

Trains will only enter from Bickershaw with the branch occupied, if you've reset it to clear the train won't enter.
