My new Trent WTT is currently being rebuilt, meaning it won't be hosted for the next day or two. In the meantime, here's some referencial reading concerning Nottingham station's own rebuild. As part of the East Midlands resignalling project, Nottingham station will close for five consequtive weeks in Summer 2012 (potentially during the Olympics. This document explains the history of signalling here, what will be done to increase capacity and why such work is so vital - and not just for passengers on services to/from Nottingham. http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/railimprovemntstechnicalcase.pdf Log in to reply |
