Greetings all,

I regret to announce that my potentially quite challenging timetable for Three Bridges based around the engineering works of 080th May 2022 has been indefinitely delayed as to its release because work has ground to a halt.

On the 08th May I had saved all the schedules for Brighton and other places because I wasn't going to have time to finish the data input of this Sunday timetable comprising of 1117 trains. I then had a couple of very busy months at work with many late finishes leaving me too tired to do anything serious to the TT but I did occasionally, before going to bed, check if the timings were still available. Which they were.

Today I went back to the TT and discovered that most of the trains from Brighton to London Victoria needed their timings changed by 6 minutes: the inbound ones were all OK. So I decided to get on with it - and the timing data couldn't be accessed because RTT had taken it off.

So I am stuck. Unless similar works take place at a convenient time in the fairly near future, or I can get the timings from elsewhere, this 08th May TT may never see the light of day which would be a pity. I suppose one option would simply be to put all the timings on by 6 mintutes and do corrections during the testing stage for any platform clashes after trains leave Brighton - I don';t know what else to do in that situation and it would be a pity if I had wasted my time on the TT.

I will keep the forum updated.
Dave

The "Open Rail Data" section of the Charlwood House web-site still carries the data for 8th. May. You may be able to extract what you need from there.

Fab! Thanks very much - I had forgotten that link and the data is thankfully still available.

Glad to hear that you can still get the data. I would have suggested contacting Tom at RTT to see if he could get the data for you if there was no other option.

Yes I would have tried that if it had been necessary. Given that this TT has, from its inception, so far been not far off 5 months in the making I would have been more than a bit gutted to have had to abandon it!

The open data is archived, but in a fairly basic format.
