Just after 07.00 in the simulation for Man Picc I am getting an error. The message reads 'Recursive Bug Report: Exception in one normal second: TRN (EAAccess violation at address 006AD4D4 in module SIMSIGLoader.EXE. Read of address 00000000. Prior to this the program appears to be running slow. I have raised it under Man Picc as my other simulations appear to work normally. Has anybody else had an issue similar, and what might the fix be. Many thanks Ian Bridges Log in to reply |

Have you opened Task Manager to see if your PC resources are being used too much by other apps?

I actually got this on Newport the other day. At the time, the sim had been continuously open for quite a few days, often in pause as I had other things to do. After rapidly hitting Return several times to clear the stack of dialogue boxes out, the sim continued normally for a while. And since this is on a 16-thread CPU with 64GB RAM, I don't think system load is likely to be at issue. Log in to reply |

Had it happen in a multiplayer game last week, system resources definitely not the issue, nor length of time the sim was open it seems. Don't even know where to start trying to reproduce it unfortunately Log in to reply |

Hi Yes, I went into Task Manager, the only way I could shut the program down. The memory and processor were using resource, but only a few percent. My system is relatively new and quite powerful. Regards Ian Log in to reply |

If possible, could you please attach a save file (.ssg) from a point in the sim before you had this problem. This will allow us to investigate any trigger points that may have caused the issue that you have come across, alternately, It may flag up something that Simsig may have to correct in order for the user not to experience this issue. If you don't have a relevant save file (.ssg), then it would be handy to know exactly what you were doing in the lead up to the message. The same problem has occurredd again at 07.26 (file attached). The game continues to play but moving the train list around gets very jittery and you cannot access the ARS information, the boxes do not open. The game cannot be shut down either, only through Task Manager. The processor is using around 8% of capacity. I do not seem to be able to get past this point in the game.
