Hi,

Two things noticed in tonight's game:

1. ACI doesn't seem to work at Leigh-on-Sea Platform 1 (Up Main). There's a train 5B05 that starts there as 1B05 and it reliably doesn't step up the berth.

2. Realtime Trains shows Ripple Lane West SS, Renwick Road Jn and Ripple Lane East SS as timing points for all services. However when some or all of these are used, ARS makes a decision to route into Ripple Lane West. This affects both Up and Down services even when the path at DDK or BKG is ML. Freights pathed for ML call wrong route if directed into the yard, and pax (also affected) risk running out of juice. Omitting all three of these points makes ARS work correctly.

Thanks
Jamie

What Timetable are you using? And can you provide a save please.

On 2. - RTT shows all locations with a time, regardless of whether the train is actually timed there or in some cases regardless of whether or not the location is even a timetabled location at all. For the non-timed locations the time inserted is pure guesswork; I believe based off mileage.

It is more than useless for timetabling purposes in SimSig.

Though I would like to add only for schedules less than 7 days I'm advance, further than that and it shows the "true schedule".

OpenTrainTimes shows a more 'pure' form of the scheduled service. Alternatively, the open rail data from Charlwood House ( http://www.charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/liverail ) shows a very raw view of the timetable data output by Network Rail.

I've attached the TT. Sadly didn't get a save of the ACI (at approx. 0630) as the signaller was going to use the centre platform - then didn't!

Hi,

TrackMaps 2:4A shows the section UR830-UR831 (and slightly towards Ford but not ARC) as electrified, but AC locos currently complain about unsuitable traction.

The unwired overrun/cripple (?) siding to the CTRL Down Connector doesn't have a grey arrow. I presume there's no control table for it IRL?

Thanks
Jamie

It's just a trap point/overrun to stop anything running away on to the CTRL. In this instance it can't be used for shunting.

Hi,

Trains stepping up from Purfleet Yard are now giving "Non-described train in berth 0656", even when the TRN is already interposed.

Also, UR1147 (GPS on Dagenham Dock P1) doesn't allow setting route to 631 to cross to Down Tilbury, only shunt into yard - I presume this is correct?

Thanks
Jamie

Another weird one - setting UR1125 (RPLLWSS Line 2 Down exit) to UR809 causes "***" to appear in the siding with message "Non-described train in berth 1125". See attached just before.

Thanks

One more query - this time Jurgens MCB crossing.

I note that this is always shown as "Crossing Clear" even though it would appear to be frequently-used. I see from Google Maps there is a man in a box mid-crossing :)

Thanks
Jamie

Manual states that the crossing is closed, however looking at Google Maps and Quail I agree it's definitely in use.

Already raised and marked resolved Mantis 0032803. notes show the LC is shown on the sim and still works. I agree it shouldn't show as permanently closed and clear and should lower like the others, but the developer has reviewed and decided its fine as is.

Hi, we don't generally dive into the information in Mantis tickets, there's a little bit more information on Mantis in general here.
