Whilst part way through writing a 1995-1996 timetable for South Humberside I've come across an issue which I'm struggling to resolve. 6M99 0635 SX Grimsby Brickpit Sdgs - Wolverhampton Steel Terminal departs from Grimsby Royal Dock, that entered in OK. However the associated LD from Immingham TMD to Grimsby Royal Dock via the Immingham Light Railway is another story altogether. So far the locations entered in creating this move are:- Immingham TMD - Immingham East Jn - Freight Terminal Sdgs - Immingham Smaller GF - Immingham Global Shipping - Ti Oxide Sdg GF - Great Coates No.1 SB where the loco reverses to fo down the branch to Grimsby Royal Docks. All these locations with the exception of the originating point & Great Coates No.1 SB have the 'passing point' ticked. Yet despite having tried several different alternatives I still keep getting 'Path not found rejection message' from Freight Terminal Sdgs - Immingham Smaller GF using platform/path/code specified. I've looked through the location list & can't seem to locate anything that refers to Kiln Lane xing which in my assumption is what maybe required, unless anyone know different. In case that anyone suggests the loco wouldn't take that route, during my 6 years of being loco controller for Yorkshire/Humberside region this did occur on almost every occasion to keep un-necessary LD moves off the busy mainlines. Does anyone know the answer to the missing location. Many thanks. Log in to reply |

Freight Terminal Sdgs, Immingham Smaller GF, and Immingham Global Shipping, are all exit points so you don't want any of them. Ti Oxide Sdg GF is a reversing point to enter TI Oxide....You don;t need that either passing time or not. Off the top of my head what you should try is this... Immingham TMD -> Immingham East -> Pyewipe Rd SB -> Great Coates No1 Having said that I don't remember there being a reversal point at Great Coates No1 so you may need to run it into Marsh sidings then back out.... I was hoping for answer from you Lardybiker as I see you were logged on. Top marks it works.... Now I can continue inputting some more trains. Many thanks for that. Excellent sim by the way. Always wanted this area to be done as a good friend of mine was a signaller at Wrawby Junction from 1990 - 2004. Spent many summers in that box taking photos of all the freight traffic. I've even got a Wrawby Junctiion signalling diagram for 1962 & 1990. Both very different. In 1962 there was only 1 spare lever out of the 135 levers in the frame. Different story in 1990 however, quite alot more by then. That said Wrawby Junction was or still is the largest mechanical box manned by a single signaller on the network.

Imm TMD - Imm East Jn - Grimsby Pyewipe Rd SB - Great Coates No 1 SB - Marsh Jn Sdgs validates OK - cos I've just done it ;) Edit: does't seem to be a path from Marsh Jn Sdgs Up to Grimsby Docks I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |

Yeah thanks for that Andy, Lardybiker has also suggested the same. I've now entered the data for 0M99 & it has accepted it. Many thanks for your assistance.
