Because of a points failure at Shireoaks East 2D06 timetable was abandoned at WP533 and sent to Shireoaks with the intention to reverse and then go to Woodend Jn via the loop. 2D06 sent as far as WP525 by which time Shireoaks barriers had been auto raised. 2D06 was then instructed to reverse direction at WP525 with the intention of stopping at WP802 as barriers were still raised. However train duly ignored the red signal at WP802 and ploughed through with 'orrible consequences! Shurely shum mistake!
