I dont know if anyone has had this issue, In Platform 8 I have 5M13 and in 7 I have 0T02. The instructions for 0T02 is to move to platform 4 and join with 5M13. In Platform 4 I have 1M13 which is supposed to join with 5M13S and Drop 0T02. Logic suggests that 0T02 should collect 5M13 from 8 and deliver to 4 but will not couple to 5M13 in 8. It just sits there waiting for 5M13.....Any suggestions please? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Looking at shunter 2's trip list, it seems to first attach to some rear coaches of 1M13, then go to platform 8 to collect the stabled stock, and then shunt it back onto 1M13, ending up with the stabled coaches in the middle of the train. You might've missed that 1M13 detached coaches first because SimSig hides any detach/join activities in the timetable window if they've already finished. Log in to reply |

If you've come unstuck, better to go back to an earlier save and try again than attempting to edit your way out of it. Unless you have run 0T02 onto the back off 1M13, drawn off the rear BG, shunted that onto the stand load sleepers on P8 then taken that consist to the rear of 1M13, the 0T02 TT will not have stepped correctly and you will be unable to do any more shunting work with 0T02 (which will rather hamper your work through the rest of the night shift). The Carlisle 79 TT is a very complex and challenging TT and one false move can cause major problems as time progresses. Have you looked at the manual (https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=simulations:carlisle)? There is a comprehensive section about the 1979 TT including simplifiers for all of the station pilot workings on a day by day basis and a listing of the shunt moves from one train to another which you may find helpful. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 06/01/2023 at 16:07 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |
