I was just wondering if there's been any major changes that would effect a modern timetable being created. I know that some platform lengths and point work at the higher numbered platforms were changed to accommodate 345's but has there been any other changes?

I believe platforms 16 and 17 (island) were lengthened to 12 cars, but lost platform 18 due to space constraints. I don't think anything else has changed within the sim area. Though the sim is mature, free, and wasn't planning to receive any more updates, I might consider it if we develop the Great Eastern Main Line further.

Amazing. Thanks for the response Geoff.

Yes that is correct.
16 and 17 are straighter at the country end, so the outlet of 17 is more on the trackbed of 18.

Not quite; December 2022 Anglia Sectional Appendix has Platforms 16 & 17 at both "205m (224yds)"

For whatever it may be worth...

December 2020 Anglia Sectional Appendix
"Platforms 16 to 18 = 162m (177yds)"

February 2021 Anglia Sectional Appendix
"Platform 16 = 185m (202yds)
Platform 17 = 168m (183yds)
Platform 18 = 178m (194yds)"

June 2021 Anglia Sectional Appendix
"Platforms 16 & 17 = 205m (224yds)"

There are no other platform length changes for the above platforms that I can see either side of these months/years listed above.

These platform changes were part of TfL Rail / Crossrail / the Elizabeth Line to just about fit in the 9-car Class 345 "Aventra" EMUs, which are 204.73m long.

I believe that limited Crossrail services still operate from the "National Rail platforms upstairs" during peak times of day, and obviously also if the Crossrail core isn't open or available for any reason - e.g.: one time not too long ago I was travelling on Crossrail heading West along the GEML and the train I was on was diverted into LST ('upstairs' ) due to an incident on the GWML which which I think meant that they only ran services SNF - LST ('upstairs' ) and probably ABW - PAD kept captive 'downstairs' - there probably isn't the capacity to turn around both SNF and ABW services at PAD, hence this next best solution.

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

Yes

Either search LST using OTT and look for XR (downstairs is a separate location for OTT)
Or search XR on RTT, and look for numbered platforms :

08:13, 08:43 arrivals
17:35, 18:05 departures
Balances are ECS.

Also can be a couple overnight.
0039-0055
0535-0554

Apart from those Liverpool St is now only using P1 - P15
