Nice TT, I would suggest that this would be a good timetable for someone to get used to the complexities of Crewe.

Apparently this has over 6 and a half thousand downloads in a day, surely that's a new record?!

I wouldn't mind betting that when the Doncaster Station simulation is released that it gets a similar number of downloads

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

I've noticed that 1M04 and 1S04 are listed as Northern 319s instead of Varamis Rail 321s

The timetable's great so far and it's good to have an up to date timetable for the sim. I've noticed that the 331 doesn't have any dwell times though whereas other trains do

Thats how it was booked on the day. It's up to the signaller to work this out and platform alteration accordingly :)

This reply is relation to 5V32 P7

I agree, a very easy work around but you asked to report any issues... I've reported 1.

The loco run-rounds in Crewe need their stopping positions altering, when the loco re-attaches it fouls the south end of the station (6Z59/0Z59 and 6K88/0Z88 so far) requiring a manual reversal or keying a lot of points.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

0B42 Does not exit SIM at Crewe South Yard (Terminated no more timetable trips) and blocks 6K88, I got round it by abandoning the TT for OB42 which then duly obliged and disappeared of SIM.

I've also noticed that a number of other trains don't have dwell times and that 0K59 is listed as 2 86s instead of 2 90s

Another thing to note is that the timings for the TFW 67 set are set to 1min 30 secs for a station stop but the timetable for 1W11 has stops set at 1min so it's impossible to keep to time.

EDIT: I hope you don't take this as a hit at the timetable, it's not. I think you've done a great job at making it and I appreciate the time you've spent creating it, as I'm sure other people do

Believe it or not, this is actually realistic! I get the TfW 67 sets often, and regularly the guards do take a long time to open the doors at stations, partly due to them being newly trained on them. Just look at realtime trains, and you will see the late running caused by this.

A while ago I was developing a sim with help from the relevant box staff. At one point, having checked speed limits and track circuit lengths carefully several times:

Me: "I can't get the trains to run to the timetable."
Box manager: "Nor can we."

Similarly, we produced a simulation for Network Rail which had a depot. The signallers complained that the sim's trains were entering/leaving the depot too slowly. The posted speed limit was 5mph and our simulated trains were doing just that, and track lengths were correct. They decided to get a speed gun out and discreetly record the actual speed of real trains. The number was significantly more than 5mph... the sim was adjusted slightly and the real drivers were gently encouraged to go a little slower - though one suspects they didn't want them to go at exactly 5mph because that would cause some delay!

I think somebody mentioned on this forum some time ago that the timing rules for St. Pancras in the 1990s to Dock Jn were mathematically impossible with the speed limits posted.

I remember reading a story from about 20 years ago, where people were arguing somewhere as to whether posted speeds were supposed to be the maximum, or the average.

0B42 is set to a class 57 and has minimum dwell times of 4 mins however the timetable only allows for 3 mins and the class 197 4 car train type has a speed accelerate set to very slow

What worm hole does 6J11 use to get from PLatform 6 to Basford Hall Junction ? I am cross eyed looking for BH20 as well.
I would love it if someone would draw a map of the actual layout to avoid having to pick my way through a meaningless warren.
