In the “Carlisle GH day 15-10-09 v4.2.0” timetable, train 6J37 is scheduled to stop in the Plumpton UGL, but it’s too long and overhangs the points. However, I've adjusted it's stopping position to "far end exact" and shunted it forward. So, for other people's information, if you do what I have just done, it'll now fit. ..... I cannot reproduce this Bugsy. 6J37 is shown as 477m long, Track Circuit 242 in the loop is 488m long. I just ran the train into the loop and it got in clear fine. Log in to reply |

Your screenshot shows the train still moving at 21mph? So yet to stop

I've just re-run the sim and got the same result. Here's another screenshot where you can see 6J37 overhanging the points when it stopped in the loop. Also a saved game at 13:30 .... I note also that the timing point at Plumpton is shown as Pass, not Depart or Set-Down. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Whilst the track circuit is 488m, the loop length is drawn on the screen as 473m You can’t assume the track joint is at the signal. The train is 477m, so I wouldn’t expect it to fit.
