There are some freight trains changing crew at Abbey Foregate in this timetable. However, if these trains entering early (without notification in advance) and the crew showing up just before the planned time, these trains blocking other trains' route from Shrewsbury.

The Telford & Oxley sim doesn't give the user any control over what happens at Abbey Foregate, so I'm not sure how Crew Changes there for early-running freights should be handled. Do the freights just sit there waiting for the crew to turn up? Maybe the Crew Changes should be removed from the Telford & Oxley timetable, so I'll take advice on this and report back.

In real life, of course, the Abbey Foregate signaller would make sure that any freight awaiting a new crew didn't prevent other trains from departing towards Wellington.

Having taken advice on this issue I've removed the Abbey Foregate crew changes for 6M55 & 6M61 and an updated version of the 2009 timetable will be available via the 'Check for Updates' facility in due course.

Meanwhile, you can get round the problem by abandoning the crew change. From the F2 trains list, right-click the freight train's ID and select 'Timetable options --> Delay/abandon crew change'. This will allow the train to depart a few minutes later, but you may find that the following train catches up with it as the two freights in question (6M55 & 6M61) are too long to hold in the UML at Wellington or the UGL at Cosford. Oxley Up Goods Loop is the first loop long enough to hold these trains without the rear end fouling the points.

Many thanks for bringing the issue with the crew changes to our attention.
