In the various working timetables produced by Railtrack and latterly Network Rail in Section PF, they make reference to a location (see title of thread) for services bound to/from Aberthaw Power Station. Now I've had a look in the manual and I've looked at the simulation but I don't seem to be able to work out where this location actually is or if it's been simulated? As a example, a typical MGR train bound to Aberthaw Power Station has the following locations in the working timetable: Cogan Junction 20/33 Cadoxton 20/42 Barry 20/46 Aberthaw Rec Sdgs 21OP02 21OP04 Aberthaw Power Station 21:19 Now I can see a location called Coal Sdgs, is this the same location as Aberthaw Rec Sdgs? Anyone familiar with the area able to advise please? Log in to reply |

A check on RealTime Trains shows that Aberthaw Rec Sdgs has TIPLOC of ABTHRCP, and Lineup > TIPLOCs shows this is called Aberthaw PS (UP) on the sim.

Would you put them into a timetable or just leave that location out? Log in to reply |

As that's also the exit/entry point (and limit of signaller's control), you just need to put the arrival time in and let the yard supervisor worry about where it stops
