I am trying to shunt the 5A10 into the sheds and it keep saying "a slot is required" I have tried all the different buttons but nothing is happening.

Could someone enlighten me as to what i am doing wrong

Have you made the call to Farnham depot to request it as shown in the Screenshot?

You can find the information within the Manual.
