I have just submitted for approval a timetable for Three Bridges 2024 SX which went live today.

I don't have much understanding of the freight movements so there may be instances of 2/3 trains which are due to run in the same pathway. If anyone better understands freight I would be grateful for any input.

Please note that no changes have been made to the platforming at Gatwick Airport. It is possible to run all the trains on the booked platforms and therefore I have left the platforming as is. The preferred order for conflicting moves is a Down arrival on 6 followed by an Up arrival on 5.

Updates have also been submitted for East Coastway, Horsham and Portsmouth.

Hi, I've noticed that 5U75 and 2C77 are too long to fit into platform 7 at Brighton and as such they can't get into Lovers Walk depot when joined as it overhangs onto the points, same with 5H95 and 2S95

Hi Ben, sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner.

I'm at a bit of a loss here as to why the drivers aren't driving up to the end of the platforms. When I tested the timetable this was all working fine so I don't know what's changed.

It's not a case of the trains being too long, for some reason the drivers aren't stopping at the buffer stops. On testing I've replicated what's being seen and then I'm manually reversing and the driver asks for authority to proceed. I've granted the authority and the train is then fully accommodated in the platform. Certainly bizarre.

I'll work through all the attachments and add far end stopping positions for the next update(although I don't think these have been needed in the past - please correct me if I'm wrong).

Thanks for flagging.

Thanks, I can't see why it'd be needed to be added as it's a terminal end platform so you would've thought trains would go right to the end

I thought I was losing the plot (I am) when I saw two 9R02s next to each other, 9W09 - 5R02 - 9R02 and another 5R02 all form 9R02. I've attached a savegame so you can see what I mean

Ah, I see what I've done. When sorting out the 04:00 seed, 9W09 should be seeding in the Thornton Heath area. Looks like I've not selected that the train seeds. This is now sorted for the next upload.

From what I recall, it's always needed far end or far end exact for platforms 7 and 3 if they're coming from one direction and needing to go the other. I certainly had to use it when doing my 2012 tt's.
Whether it is dependant on what order they arrive in I don't know. But could just be that IRL the stopping positions aren't right at the buffers, so yes they fit but just need to be further forward for joins etc

Hi SEMCMILLAN, this has been corrected but I haven't updated the file yet. The trains aren't stopping in the correct position which is causing the issues. I'm hoping to have an update out soon.

3E20 and 3M20 are in practice a 'Y' coded 'Q' path - either 3M20 or 3E20 runs, not both. Similarly with 3M21/3W21.

Hi, with the default TT start the first 9W00 does not depart at 0002 as booked, but at 0010 instead. I think this is to do with it being seeded as 9T69 reversing, which causes the sim to add on the 10 minute reversing time. I had to manually change the terminus reverse time to make it depart at the right time.
