Hi

Been playing Simsig on and off for a number of years and would like the SimSig community to suggest possible routes to buy next.

I have already purchased 2 routes...

1. Huddersfield - It looks easy (famous last words)
2. Leeds North West - My local area as I am from Bradford.

I would like your opinion on routes to buy that are for a person who is a beginner but closer to an intimediate user.

I was looking at Cowlairs as 1 possibilty

Cheers in advance

Dave

Have you taken a look at this list?

Oxford has quite a lot going on but over a relatively small area.

Would agree with Oxford. If you want something with ARS, I've found SwinDid to be a fairly good intro to it as you can leave one or two desks running while learning the other with fairly minimal intervention. For a larger sim to cut your teeth on give Exeter a go. It's a fairly long route however when it's all running well there are only a few areas you really have to focus on. Similarly with Westbury.

Salisbury and Basingstoke are also good, although for different reasons. Salisbury is deceptively simple but has the tokenless block and single line, DMU depot and lots of shunting, and can also get quite interesting when delays are up. Basingstoke has more flexibility but higher traffic.

Basically... What it is driver... We uh....
