Yes I used the up decoy shunter panel to change points and signals out of sidings and the train was still stood in the siding. It’s no big deal however I’ll just use US4 as that works for me. May I add too it’s a really good timetable, I can tell a lot of time and effort has gone into this and maybe the best timetable I’ve ever played
If you could let people see a saved game where the train has the problem then someone may be able to find out what is causing the problem. Even though you are managing with a workaround it would be good to identify the problem in case anyone else runs into the same trouble.

I think there is an issue with 9T27 / 239T276T104.

Its destination is listed as Down Decoy Reception Sdgs Platform 5, but that doesn't exist. Its either Down Decoy Reception Sdgs Platform 1-4 or its Down Decoy Nos 5 to 7 Platform 5.

I’ve just started the Doncaster Station 1981 sim again.
9Z04 is straddling the points at the Finningley Ground Frame.

Am I supposed to wait for it to move or have I got to reverse it and shunt it forward to get it off the points?
Don’t recall having this problem the first time around.

Edit: No need to reply to this as I've just read the manual again and the answer is in there.

I had to work out what was going on here on my last run of this TT.

Try this
operate ground frame and wait for it to time release

reverse the points

give handsignal up to down

when train clear normalise the points and close ground frame

You will find that unless you let 9Z04 close up behind 8D06 it will ring say waiting at D767 at regular intervals until 0515. (8D06 and 9Z04 are in an engineering possession so it would be allowed to have them both in the same signal section)

Auckley crossing in real life would be under local control to allow these moves to take place

I had already done what you suggested and got the train to cross over the points.

Unfortunately I made a huge mistake and didn't check what the train types were so didn't realise that it was an engineering possession. I checked the Simplifier and saw that another train was due to enter from Gainsborough shortly so adjusted the timetables of 8D06 and 9Z04 to get them out of the way.
That train didn't actually enter the sim anyway.

What a plonker 🙄
