Both 1F77 and 1F80 are 116m in length (Cl. 222) entering in the Down direction with stopping position Far End. The combined 232m length of 1C13 (which also departs in the Down direction via Nunnery) probably shouldn't be overlapping the TC in rear if the working length of this platform is 345m as per manual.

Yes, timetables have to stop. But there is nowhere on the real railway where a train will be booked to berth in the middle of a main line. Logically, it should run until the point where it drops off the SIM.

My over-tidy mind means that I like to finish a SIM with no trains at all on it. For trains that are berthed, I simply abandon timetable and then let them rung forward to the nearest SIM exit point where I let them drop off. But that's just me.

What do you do with trains that terminate within the sim then in real life have a next working which is beyond the scope of the SimSig TT?

Yes you can berth terminating trains but this train should've (I think) carried on to Moorthorpe or Doncaster and the train should still carry on running after the sim has finished

Problem then is the chained Ardsley TT doesn’t have this train as it’s past the end time. I could add it but then I’d end up recessing at MORTHGL instead!

No worries! All good questions to ask so others can find the answer in future. Glad you’ve enjoyed the TT.

Hi,

Just having a go with the latest version of the timetable and found I get 7M18 and 7M19 both arriving within a minute or so of each other and both show as the exact same 07:21 Doncaster Up Decoy to Toton. Both also show as running 100% of the time. Both train consist details are exactly the same too.

Should this not be a case of one or the other running rather than both?

In all the timetables I author, trains stop and berth at the next timing point beyond 24:00. When everything has stopped you'll get the end of timetable message. I've written them that way because I see it that the simulation stops at 24:00 not 24:40 supervising one last stopping train off panel.

how users then work with that is up to them of course.... however I don't see anything wrong with it being done the way this timetable has been.

7M19 has an error in its decision field - should be contingent on choice "7M19". I'll correct this in a future release.

Thanks for letting me know

I've noticed some of the Nottingham to Leeds services terminate at Sheffield and become ECS to move around the station area before then being used later in the day for similar Nottingham to Leeds services. Is this correct and if so should they not be shown as Nottingham to Sheffield and then Sheffield to Leeds services rather than Nottingham to Leeds services both before and after changing to ECS?

1Y16 and 1Y22 are both examples but I've seen at least one other and possibly another in the Leeds to Nottingham direction that did the same.

There were a number of services caped that day at Sheffield due to train crew not fancying the job. The affected trains should have notes in the pop-up timetable view:
1B64, 1L65, 1L77, 1Y09
1Y12, 1Y16, 1Y21*, 1Y22

*(1Y21 terminated at SHF due to train fault)
