Is it possible to use the short neck to do a 'shunt' from the loco sdg back into the loco sdgs? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

I would say not, as there's no signal to get the engine out again.

The timetable validator suggests there’s no useful TIPLOC for the neck either.

You could make a move back into the yard on PIC authority only. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply The following user said thank you: TUT |

There is a Wembley Yard signal that Wembley Yard would use to take the loco back in. It’s only 20-30m long, one engine length only. TBF this should have been included as Wembley Yard often requests shunts into the loco headshunt and back into the Yard. This is an omission from me when asked questions by the designer, I believe. I’ll have to check my past messages. Log in to reply |

As the current layout stands within the sim, it would be on the hollow track area on the other side of 788 signal. Regards Craig Post has attachments. Log in to view them. My apologies also. I should have noticed this from a while ago. I also take responsibility for this omission. The loco would stand over the track circuit of the points and headshunt and would show occupied till the loco moved back into the loco sidings or into the yard. Log in to reply |
