Very nice TT I'm playing through now. I see that you have used Class 86's on some Freightliner trains but FL no longer use 86/6's. The last 16 were sold to Bulgaria in 2023 and the only electric traction now is Class 90's. Also a few Class 4 trains have no description showing as to origin and destination

I'll echo the thanks for the timetable.

At least one of the flask trains is also listed as a pair of 37s. While we would all love this back again, I think they have been class 68/88 hauled for a while now, certainly in December of last year.

All noted. This will need to propagate to Chester/Warrington/Stafford/Liverpool/Sandbach as well so it'll take a while to get all the releases ready.

In the same vein, 6V73 (flask train) has just entered reporting that it is a pair of 56s. This seems improbable.

On a similar, very 'nitpicky' note - the Liverpool scrap metal trains have ballast in their description? I thought they were MBAs with scrap metal therein. Happy to be corrected. It also looks like the scrap trains and the various Peak Forest stone workings have an alternating pattern - not everything runs every day. I am not sure how one would implement that, though, since they are all in the WTT but observing reality (my parents house is near this line), says they alternate.

Writing conditions or rules into the TT. There are lots of published TTs (like all of the groundhog day TTs) that have many conditions and rules so if you look at any of them you will see how it works.

Yes that's true, and perhaps I did not phrase it particularly well. I mean there is no rule discernable to an external observer other than observation, but even then there are disturbances to the patterns. So it might have to be random, or similar.

The other note on the timetable is that train 1A10 was originally intended to stop at HTF on its way south, but this idea was dropped probably due to the delayed introduction of the new Hitachi sets and I think the idea has now been fully dropped. It still appears in RTT as a pathing stop for a passing train, which is a good trick if you can pull it off, but the reality is it passes non-stop.

Random is what the rules and decisions do. You can skew things to favour one or more of the options by using the weightings in the decisions or by doubling up on TDs in the rules. If you have a specific pattern which means that trains A,B and C always run on the same day while Trains D,E and F always run on a different day you set that up by creating a decision with choices Day 1 and Day 2 then setting those choices into the train TTs.
