jc92 all Barton on Humber trains should be platformed in P4 all day. Next time you get this make a note of the headcodes & I'll alter the master edition of the timetable. Thanks.

5F81/2F81.
5B69 and 5M84 are tabled from Carriage Sidings at the same time 07:00 both to P3.

58050, why are the likes of 7G04 tabled to Scunthorpe FD go via Scunthorpe Trent TC Recp when they are not tabled to stop, when there is a more direct path?

Pascal, I'm having problems with the 9Gxx MGR's coming out of Immingham Reception Sidings. The Class 08 never seems to detach at Humber Road Rev. Of course it could be me doing something wrong.

i had problems with the first but refered to this thread. the train should be signalled to the limit of shunt or it will not have enough space to reach the reversal point

Barry in answer to your comment regarding MGR trains to Scunthorpe F.D. If I remember correctly I think there was a routing issue when I originally timetabled them via more direct route. Secondly routing them viz Scunthorpe Trent Recp gives the signaller the opportunity of keeping the mainline clear in the event of any issues such as point, signal failures or track circuit failures. If the train was stood for any length of time on the mainline awaiting acceptance into Scunthorpe F.D. it may well delay other trains running behind. Also some of the MGR trains are booked that way in the WTT. Hope this answers your quiery.

Barry thank you for reporting 5B69 & 5M84 both timetabled to appear at Cleethorpes Carriage Sdgs at 0700. What I have done is re-timed 5B69 to 0704 & arriving at Cleethorpes station at 0706, still in P3. I have also added a rule whereby 5B69 must appear 2 minutes after 5M84 arrives at Cleethorpes. Can I suggest everyone who has downloaded this timetable to amend it accordingly.

I'm struggling to find out why you seem to be having a problem with these trains Barry. No dis-respect to you, it's just that in all of the tests hosted by Kieran & subsequent solo games I've played this has never been a problem. Agreed when the timetable was first written I didn't route the trains to the Limit of Shunt board on the Up line & I remember asking the likes of AndyG & other for any possible suggestions. It was only when I took a closer look & saw the 'LOS' board that i re-wrote the routes for these trains & following a solo & multi-player test all then dropped into place. That said no one else seems to have reported the same problem. Don't think there's much point in re-downloading the sim as there is only one version available. If anyone else has had a problem with 9G13, 9G14 or 9G15 could they please post something on this thread. I can only say that it does work, but why you seem to be having an issue with this I can't as yet answer & for that I apologise. Mystery?

58050. My apology. Everything is working except signal IR207. I was reversing on the down road. Sorry for the mix up. I'll go back to sleep.

OK Barry no problem, glad to see that little dilema has been sorted. When you signal 0G13, 0G14 or 0G15 from IR.207 signal to the 'LOS' board on the Up it doesn't clear. In each case you have to tell the driver to 'pass the signal at danger'. It may not be perfect in the fact that the subsidary signal doesn't clear at IR.207. I've wondered whether to alter the stopping position of 9G13, 9G14 or 9G15 to see if that would remove the need to tell the driver to pass the signal at danger. Will probably test that prior to the next release of this timetable.

Originally, there were two separate locations for reversing at Humber Rd Jn. However, it was decided to combine them. Given some trains are quite long I could add a specific location for reversing at IR207 to avoid the problem of reversing at the wrong place if that will help.

With reference to 1B74 & 1Z06 Barry. 1B74 would have priority as it is a WTT service. 1Z069 would be running under STP arrangements & therefore wouldn't be as time critical. I can alter the timings by 10 minutes or so for the next version release.

According to the 3rd edition (2006) of Quail map book for the Eastern Region there is a run round road at Grimsby Ti-Oxide Sidings. Strange no one else has reported this problem. It wasn't even raised when the multi-player testing was done. As far as I know the train is routed correctly & never ran via Immingham East Junction. If anyone else has had the same problem can you please add a post to this thread.

The sim will not let you enter the siding in the Up direction. Refer the manual for its operation.

wether or not the manual is refering to "background" operation ie lack of a runround loop or trains must always in real life propell i dont know, but i had no problems in routing into ti oxide from marsh junction (except a users delayed at crossing message which was my fault). it certainly works practically on the sim and i think ill trust what the real life WTT and quail says for these trains

The 0M11/6M11 problem may be due to the fact that 6M11 leaves Lindsey 30 mins earlier than booked so it enters the same time as 0M11 from Immingham TMD

Further to my post #17, I've now noticed the error with the 6M11 rule:
It should be '6M11 must not ENTER until 16 mins after 0M11 leaves the area'
instead of '6M11 must not DEPART from Lindsey Oil until 16mins after 0M11 leaves the area'

The existing rule will probably allow 6M11 to enter at, but not depart from, Lindsey Oil. (and if 0M11 doesn't run, it will never depart)

Summary of TT entries for this train:
0M11 set to run 40% of time (ie 2 days/wk);
6M11 set to run always;
6M11 to enter x mins after 0M11 exits.

Go to the top of the class there Andy. I always thought there was a problem with the ruling. I've amended my ruling to show 6M11 must not appear until 16 minutes after 0M11 leaves the area. Also Andy checked both 0M11 & 6M11 & they are both set to run at 100% of the time. Neither has the '%' box ticked, so not sure where your '0M11 is set to 40% of the time (ie 2 days/wk) comes from?

2. 9G14 does work OK or it has everytime I've played this timetable. The move is as follows :- IR.47 or IR.70 to IR.207 signal then signal to 'LOS' which is directly above IR.122 on the panel on the Up line. The pilot loco will detach & become IMSSP(Immingham Sorting Sidings Pilot). If 0G14 appears early then you should hold it at IR.11 signal until 9G14 has cleared the next signal section, then signal 0G14 behind 9G14. Set the route from IR.207 signal to the 'LOS' on the up as you did for 9G14, but you will have to tell the driver of 0G14 to 'pass the signal at danger'. The loco will go onto the rear of 9G14 & attach, then becoming 6G14. Once 6G14 has gone forward to Immingham Bulk Terminal you can then send IMSSP back to Immingham West S.S. This same process should be repeated for 9G13 (0G13) & 9G15 (0G15). I know the train fits & isn't too long as this move was one of the first I managed to sort out. If you've signaled 9G14 from IR.47 or IR.70 to IR.207 & then to IR.100 then yes the train will be too long thats why you need to sugnal it to the 'Limit of Shunt(LOS)' on the Up Line.

I've just reached this little problem in my own playing of this TT.

When you say that 9G14 should be routed up to the LOS, you should mention that the sim won't let you set a route between IR100 and the LOS (at least it won't let ME set the route - "no route between selected signals"). The only way I can do it is to manually set the points for a move towards the LOS and authorise 9G14 to pass IR100 at danger. This leads to a track circuit bleed when the train finally stops and divides.

All of the above results in me having to authorise 0G14 to pass IR207 at danger to reach 9G14. The loco couples successfully. I take it this is the only way to do it? I mean, instead of getting 9G14 to run to the LOS to fit in the "reversing area", could one not simply send it from IR100 down to IR107 and see if it knows where to stop before dividing? Or would it just run all the way to IR107 and expect to be sent further on?

Is anyone else able to set a route from IR100 to the LOS, or is it just me?

Thanks.

Lazzer if my memory serves me correctly the way you described the move is the only way it works. I've described earlier you have to go through the same scenario for 9G13 & 9G15 as well. That said it is a long time since I played this timetable orthe sim. Maybe when the new version of South Humberside is finally released some of these issues may well be eradicated.

Why is it so? I have 0M33's driver asking for authority to proceed after having enter Immingham Storage West Terminal (Western Jetty Arrivals) and last location on TT. Giving the driver the authority to proceed, the loco reverses and heads in the down direction towards the main line.
Barry
I think we may have a general bug here. The heritage timetable I'm doing has freight trains being banked up from Doncaster with the banking loco released from the rear at Gunhouse Loop. After train has divided and front portion goes on its merry way to Scunthorpe the banking loco phones in for permission to proceed but it is now going in the down direction! The banking loco location is from Gunhouse Loop to Scunthorpe P1 for reversing so why has it changed direction of its own accord? A simple change of direction sorts the problem out but there seems to be something wrong somewhere.
