The one thing I've never been able to get round is the sheer number of connections the NLL has to everything - so I've put together a map for my (and other's!) benefit, showing where most of the exits lead, how these are connected together, and where they go, as well as showing how the internal layout connects (giving a "what if?" for a scrolly NLL!). It can be found on the wiki at: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=usertrack:mans:nll2.gif (note: rather large image, but small filesize)

Absolutely fantastic!

Can't really say any more, I'm almost speechless!

Bah, those other regions never could run trains right, nevermind name their stations. Paddington's the only real terminus!

Link in first post updated - and does anyone know how to delete/replace images on the wiki?

That'd be nice at some point. Just looking at your image now leaves me wondering what areas it'd be arranged into, but then thinking about it I can easily see it being 'bits of horizontal track' as separate workstations or something like that. But then again isn't the whole NLL one signaller at a time or something? MFCooper - your expertise please.

I assume you want to delete your original image ('Version 1')? I get the feeling that to do that requires some kind of special permissions or something. I've had a good ol' look around and can't seem to do it myself, and the delete button doesn't appear where I'd expect it, so I think this is the case.

The wiki says:
Quote:
This area covers numerous signalboxes from Richmond right round to North Woolwich and Barking
Some examples include Acton Wells Jn, Willesden HL, Gospel Oak (both closed Feb this year), Camden Rd Jn, Dalston Jn (both closed over xmas), and a number on the GOBLIN - with semaphores up until quite recently!

UKTM is correct - I did used to work on the North London Line. Please see this separate thread about the recent resignalling that has affected the line:

Also - great map, Danny! :-)
