Has anyone found the new core code feature yet? It, or something like it, should be in all future simulation releases. It's all down to Geoff, nothing to do with me. (I shall leave the details as a mystery for people to explore.) Log in to reply |

Well, I don't usually do shouting.  But the other thing I have noticed is that certain routes, such as from the down platform at H&W into the reversing siding, can be called before flank protection is available provided the points directly in the route itself aren't locked, though the signal doesn't clear until the flank protection (in this case, clearance of the TC over the trailing point in the up line) becomes available.

And if there was a print option for it as well . . . . Or is Clive referring to this enhancement (WembleySub feature) and not letting on about the other one I refer to above? I accidentally stumbled across this feature the other day and it was interesting, although looked a bit daunting/confusing at first but I'll get used to it. I assume it is this feature that everyone is talking about, the one that Andy asked me about the other night in the Shout Box. I'd really h8 (that is "hate", for those who don't understand text speak) for others to miss out on using this excellent feature. I have now discovered that both the host (as the 'Server' and the players (as the 'Client'can use this feature in multiplayer games - therefore making it an extremely useful feature. It even shows you train information for trains that haven't already entered the area, therefore sort-of ruling out the need for players ("clients"to ask the host to look up the information.
