It's horrible for me because I'm literally 40 minutes away from the meet location. Just a shame I have to w*rk. Bring on Derby, and as long as it isn't on 1st or 15th October, I will most likely be there.

UKTiM; Yeah I realised that when Mr Backup told me. Got less dates available in November. :(

Maybe July next year?

Glad someone enjoyed their day. I got stuck listening to moaning Arsenal supporting twits that seemed to think they were loyal followers of Arsenal because they'd come to watch the Arsenal Youth Reserves Team. Hopefully see you in NOVEMBER at Derby and i'll get to have the same experience. *fingers crossed*

Thank you all for a really good meet, nice to finally put some team speak voices to names. Also thanks to alan for driving me over to Euston to get my train back.

Such a shame my bank declined my card when trying to purchase my first class upgrade, however kudos to the TM he rang it through and did a signature for me.

Good meet, good game, shame I waited until the last shift just before the failure.
Never mind wont do that next time..

Massive thanks to GeoffM for arranging the meet and to the developers of the two excellent simulations for their sterling work. One of the memorable features of Derby would be the banner repeater being simulated on the Up Main / Up Main (West) at Peartree, may seem like a minor thing but I think it's great! :)

AFAIK not too many bugs in the simulations, which is of-course good! :)

Once again, many many thanks.

Yes a big thank you to Geoff and the team who made this possible!

Nice to put a few new names to faces. Hopefully should be able to make the Derby meet.

Didn't seem to go too well when I was controlling. TCF/PF at Staffs Jn on Derby South cropped up on me but cleared not long before I left, then later took a panel on South Humberside at about half 5 since it was unattended most of the afternoon, but didn't signal anything, as only a few minutes later the connection went bust

Very good though and thank you once again for an excellent day out!

James.

Just to echo everyone else, a great meet and nice to meet people in the real world as well!

Someone, somewhere also has a real sense of humour - after all of my trains from Manchester were on time, my trip home to Heald Green from Piccadilly was delayed by an hour because of a points failure at Slade Lane Junction

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Splodge, i trump you, someone else had an even bigger sense of humor on the GWML between Swindon and Chippenham
Someone went and nicked the signal cable. Had a delay of 3 hours at swindon station!!! so despite not staying for the curry or anything like that, i have literally only just got home!

Natalie would like to say a big Thank you to Geoff et al for letting her experience London for the first time ever! I enjoyed not having the responsibility of a panel (or three) this time, as after spending 4 hours on a coach we were quite tired!

Nice to see Chris, and I hope he comes to more meets

My thanks too to all who helped organise yesterday's meet. It was nice to come along and do some more signalling.

Apologies to those to whom I did get a bit scratchy while I was working Saltley South Bottom and Stratford, but we had major failures at Moor St and near Tyseley and I really did have to concentrate fully to even keep the remaining trains from not having to wait too long at red signals before I could get back to them to set their routes!

Thanks to those who organised the meet, it was a fantastic day out!

Loved the new sims, Derby and Saltley are wonderful works of art.

Nice to see the usual suspects and to meet some new faces to put names too

Hope to see you at the Derby meet in November.

Cheers

Paul

Another fantastic meet. Big thank you to Geoff, and all others involved with the organisation of this meet.

Hope everyone enjoyed them selves as much as I did, Must say I was a little worse for wear when my train got to Aldershot, very lucky i was chatting to a workmate for long enough to realise that my dam bag was still on the train. . . very close call.

I hope to have Saltley out and available within a week or 2, have a few minor issues from the meet to look into and a manual to help complete (Thank you very much Andy G for your help there).

As already mentioned, another execellent attendance for an ever growing meet.

Also good to see new faces at these events (and some older ones too! )

Derby just needs a few tweaks that we found over the weekend, but still, shouldn't be long now! (Que "is it ready yet!!!" :pinch: )

Thanks again to all whom attended, hope to see you all for the November meet!

I've started the ball rolling here (on the WIKI).

Hopefully UKTM will add his group photo when he has a mo.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
