Does anybody think a Doncaster Simulation would be really cool. Because there will be loads of passenger and freights in the area. Nezza It's such a good idea it's already been discussed a number of times in this section. The most recent is a bit further down the list of topics in this category at this link. Please don't think I'm trying to stifle the flow of ideas from posters, but SimSig has been around for so long now that all of the interesting areas have probably already been covered somewhere in this category. Having said that, who knows what sims are in development. Certainly, the developers will not be making any official announcements about what is in hand. Even if we get a clue about what is in development (we've known about Saltley and Derby since the meet at Derby in 2009) the development still takes time and they are only now in the final stages of preparation for public release. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Agree with all the comments. Spent many hours years ago at York and Donny 'Deltic bashing'. Would make a cracking sim.

It's also a missing link so to speak - you could in theory (with updates) have a chain of Wembley / North London Line / Kings Cross / Cambridge / Peterborough / Doncaster / Sheffield / Worksop / Trent / South Humberside.

And with Satley and Derby soon to be release, that links the western region in. So add to that Saltley, Derby, Swindid, Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester and Westbury.

Agreed, but it could be worth it to get into the Guinness Book of Records for the largest signalling sim ever run! B)

Dont think York is possible because its an IECC and TREsim do most of the IECCs.
