Once stopped at Ely North Junction in the 2003 timetable, why does the train not change direction to propel into the sidings? How do you get the train to go into the sidings as it comes from Peterborough so can't route it directly into the sidings unlike if it came from Soham. Help would be great, thanks ![]() Log in to reply |

Doesn't work, the train insists it must stop at 296 or 298 signal and refuses to change direction automatically. Part of the problem is then train is 390m and is too long to fit between 298 and 303 signals or 296 and 305 signals - managed to resolve it by setting the route over the Kiln Crossing then it automatically did change direction, I don't like having to do that. Whether or not you like it, that's the correct action. The train has got to be completely behind a signal before it can reverse.
