During a TCF at Didcot North Jn, I sent 6V68 (who was wanting Didcot TC) from the Up Oxford to the Up Avoiding Line*. It drew up to signal 922 or thereabouts and stopped, and is now showing in the Train List as "Terminated, no more timetable trips." Current/Prev location is "Didcot TC." Seeing as it hasn't really made it anywhere near Didcot TC I'm assuming this isn't supposed to happen? *Don't ask what I was going to do next, I was tired and I don't think I'd got that far! Hence what happened to you. Suggest you simply de-allocate the train from the timetable and through judicious use of f2 reversing you get it into a TC location, or maybe amend the timetable. Hence what happened to you.I can understand the reason behind making Didcot Parkway platforms and the Avoiding Lines interchangeable, so you can divert things through without stepping the timetable, but surely putting the TC in other places will only result in this sort of thing? i.e. there isn't anything that goes 'through' the TC that could be diverted, because it's an exit location. Swindon A&B has already been re-released, and now it needs re-releasing again... The core code bugs are fixed, but there has appeared a bug in the sim.

To be quite honest I'd just assumed it wasn't possible to put a through train there, so the fact that it is (or rather was) makes sense. Log in to reply |

There will always be little niggles here and there no matter what we do but I've not seen anything that warrants an immediate re-release of any of the 3 GW sims.
