Hi,
I have made a TIPLOC and CRS code list for Oxted, with the help of Phil Deaves' website. The only problem is I don't know how to copy this from an Excel spreadsheet to the Wiki, and how to keep the table in the same style as the rest of the Wiki. Any help appreciated!

I don't know how well a simple copy and paste from Excel would work but you can certainly export it to comma separated values (or, probably better, space separated values) and then paste that text into the Wiki. To make a table, use vertical bar characters for each column, with the caret symbol for column titles, eg:
^ Title column 1 ^ Title column 2 ^
| Row 1, Column 1 | Row 1, Column 2 |
| Row 2, Column 1 | Row 2, Column 2 |
More information on formatting is available via a link when you edit a Wiki page ("See syntax for Wiki syntax").

You can edit another page and cancel it if you just want to know how it's formatted.

Link to WIKI syntax help

This page is set up with a dummy entry, may be enough to get you started.
Have a go, there's others who will tidy it up if you put the basic text in.

OK, I've put the first 3 in as a test. One small question, how do I get the vertical bar from the keyboard? I had to copy just then.
Also, I have made a few signal number diagrams for Sims which don't appear to have them at the moment: Trent, Waterloo, Wembley Sub, Westbury and Worksop. At the moment they are in Publisher 2003 Format, an image of the sim with the colours inverted with text boxes overlaid with numbers in. If they are needed, how can I submit them?

On my keyboard it's SHIFT \ but whether that's standard or not I don't know.

OK, just added the rest.

Presumably publisher can export as pdf or jpg? If both then see if there is a significant difference in size/quality between them.

I can save the image of the plan as a jpg, but I don't know how to upload it to the Wiki.

When in the edit window, there's a button for 'insert image link'. it should lead you to a menu to search, select and upload the file. then you should be able to select it from the list of uploaded files, and it "should" ( :S ) insert a link automatically.

May need to play about with the width format to suit (have a look at the wiki syntax page for more info.

Give it a try, there's plenty of folk to help you if needed.

OK, I've created a refence section for Worksop, and linked to a page with the images on. However, if I add the ?widthxheight on, the results do not make for easy scrolling, so I've left it as a link to the image for now, because when viewed that way it is fairly easy to scroll. Is it possible to get a small image instead of the box with an x in or not, so people know that the image exists? Having said that, I might find a free pdf printer and do it that way instead.
