Headshot's 16 is Manchester Deansgate or Oxford Rd, can't remember which.

And 14- that building in the background looks familiar, just can't place it.

Just in case anyone fancies a shot at the ones I posted a couple of pages back here they are again:

Picture 1: www.flickr.com/photos/14103794@N04/6098619568/
Picture 2: www.flickr.com/photos/14103794@N04/6098617546/
Picture 3: www.flickr.com/photos/14103794@N04/6098612880/ (already identified as Attleborough)

Although 3 has already been correctly guessed after I first posted the links I welcome any further guesses on 1 and 2. There is a clue in picture 2 (to do with the train, and I don't mean the livery: the fact that the photo was taken on a Saturday has something to do with the train's working if it is any help) while number 1 is not in England. Also, in regards to number 1, the picture is a fairly recent one (04th April 2011) but I took it on monochrome setting to make it look old fashioned. The box is still there.

Peter, correct. The bridge behind it is the main line between Neath and Swansea. This box is an odd survival and something of a hybrid. The signalling is electric (MAS) for trains running from the port of Swansea. But there are evidently levers in situ in the box: point levers run in both directions from the box to each end of the single-track section and Google Earth's view from the B4434 (Croft Road?) bridge over the line shows two semaphore signals for trains heading towards the port!

Phil Deaves' website giving signal prefix codes has Neath & Brecon Junction box as having closed in 1989 but this is obviously not the case.

Well done with the guess: that leaves picture 2.

To be fair; just because the box is there, it doesn't mean it is in use. It is possible that the actual box was closed in 1989 but the signals themselves have remained and have been interlocked into another box.

Number 2 is platform 1 at Dover Priory standing by the main entrance to that platform looking towards Prory Tunnel.

99% certain

Possible another lever box has taken control of that point with a CCTV monitoring system?

Picture 3: www.flickr.com/photos/14103794@N04/6098612880/
..... I note that I have not had any guesses on picture 2 so the answers were:

Picture 1: Neath & Brecon Junction (correctly guessed)
Picture 2: Dullingham
Picture 3: Attleborough (correctly guessed)

I also said that there was a clue:

If you look at the train in picture 2 you will see that the front lights on the train indicate that it will shortly travel in the direction of my camera. Also you will see that the train is stopped in the wrong platform. The signalman at Dullingham told me that most trains at Dulingham use the down platform on Saturdays regardless of the direction of travel. I was there for the best part of an hour and no trains at all called in the platform on the other side of the line from the camera.

While I think to set them, here are two more from me. Let's see if you can get these:

And three more from me

'UKTM-02' - http://www.flickr.com/photos/uktrainman/6125753066
As a 'bonus question' - can anyone identify the train?

'UKTM-03' - http://www.flickr.com/photos/uktrainman/6125208513
There is no significance to the blurred-out bits.

'UKTM-04' - http://www.flickr.com/photos/uktrainman/6125751040

Hopefully a bit easier than 'UKTM-01'...and unfortunately less amusing too

You'll note each one from me is uniquely identified (UKTM-01, UKTM-02, UKTM-03, UKTM-04, etc), this should make it clearer when guessing, so please identify it as shown. In theory this may save you typing time as you could just type the identity and your guess.

Look forward to some guesses!
