In the next day or two, SimSig will be moving to a new server. I am told that this will be significantly faster and more responsive than the current website, which itself has grown to be very popular! During the migration process, access to the website will be temporarily lost, and emails to/from @SimSig addresses will be delayed or possibly lost. In theory it shouldn't last for more than a few hours but please be patient as it can take up to 72 hours for the new address to propagate to all the servers around the world. Of course, this migration comes at a price. The monthly costs will nearly double and the migration itself is costing a fair bit. As usual, donations gratefully received. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Geoff Appreciate the upgrade, should make a big difference. Can you be more specific about "the monthly costs will nearly double" As a price of £0 doubled is still £0, so what are we actually talking about £2 extra, £20 extra per month. I can't donate as the shop does not work. When choosing payment method (there's only 1 choice, however), nothing happens when clicking Next. Firefox 6.0 on Windows Vista AJP in games Log in to reply |

Remember that you need to input your address before any kind of payment can be made. When I first tried, it wasn't made obvious that it was missing.

Thank you. I did not know an address was needed for something that does not need to be sent to me.

I think Moonraker is making reference to the notice on the front page referring to Monday September 9.
