Euston release and manual 25/11/2011 at 18:05 #23632

Simmers may have noticed that Euston is one of the sims to be played tomorrow.

I intend to have a public release of Euston as soon as Geoff and I can do the admin. It might even be tomorrow, but it might be a week or two. But it's ready for release and no more changes will be made.

The manual (or, rather, a link to it) is on the wiki.

Fantastic, looking forward to playing this tomorrow and the release.
Thanks for all the hard work in putting this sim together.

Does it chain to Wembley Sub ? and I think North London ?
Is there the usual 2009 TT for this one as well?

The provided timetable works with all eras. 1990s will give you more platforms, but you'll have to make one minor edit to the timetable (see the manual).

All the signals clear, and plenty of them just use the usual "click signal, click next signal". You're going to have to provide more details if you want help.

From the manual supplied with the sim (which should be in the same folder as the TTs):

"Between the station and these four sets of lines lies the throat, a complex mess of pointwork. You will notice 13 blue buttons in this area, labelled A to N. These are "via" buttons - they are used to indicate which of several alternative routes are to be taken; to use them, click on the entrance signal, then the via buttons, then the exit signal. What is unusual about their use in Euston is two-fold: if a button lies on the route, it must be used, and even though there may be many potential routes between two signals, only a relatively small number of them are available."

firstly and most basically have you unpaused the sim :P

most signals work as normal.

if your having trouble at camden junction, dont forget you also have to set the overlap direction with a thrid click on one of the overlap arrows.

what sort of error messages are you getting when you attempt to set routes? this might show what, if anything, your doing wrong.

there should be a link to it included in the timetables folder for euston which will be in your SimSig folder depending how your PC is set up. theres also a link to the manual which is on clives website, as stated in the first post of this thread

Post signal numbers that won't clear and I'm sure someone will give you a click by click to get them cleared.
