I have received a Line Clear at Cresswell from Worksop, and cleared the Section Signal. Before the train has entered the section, I needed to have a break, so saved the session. When I re-loaded it, the Section signal had reverted to danger, with Line Clear still pegged. I have checked the situation, and it keeps doing it. This has also happened for another section - I forget which. Can anyone explain whay this is happening? Log in to reply |

Have taken the simulation into the laboratory to test this. Did ILC? Worksop -> Creswell and confirmed it was, set the route up through the section and through Creswell stn upto the last Creswell area signal and then saved the game. Reloaded straight away and it wasn't a problem so did the same the other way with the route set through Creswell stn upto the final signal, did ILC? Creswell -> Worksop and confirmed it was and set the route upto Shireoaks East Jn, saved the game and reloaded straight away but that wasn't a problem. Exited the game completely then restarted and hey presto Signal E14 had gone back to red. Reloaded the save again from within the game and the signal had reverted to green. Hopefully this testing will be somewhat helpful for this issue? Through further testing I have got to a situation of Signal E14 (Creswell -> Worksop) and Signal E18 (Creswell -> Shirebrook) are currently at red, despite line clear having been given. I have the latest save from the testing I've been doing and it is available to download at http://sharesend.com/sfbjt if it is needed or may be useful. As said, I believe a temporary workaround is to load the save twice (once as the simulation is opened and then once again when the simulation is already open) and the signals should be green again. Hope this helps. Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for. Log in to reply |

Interesting! I've tried it again, and find that it is only at Creswell that the signals revert, routes set towards Creswell from Shirebrook or Worksop are fine. but routes from Creswell revert! Richard Log in to reply |

I had this happen to me today as well, Creswell -> Shirebrook, and as above when I loaded the saved position again the signal was green second time around Brian Log in to reply |
