0z00 appears to be a spare class 86 in the event of delays failures etc and can be used via tt editor...does 0z08 perform a similar function?

Thanks for the interest.

Yes, spare loco 0Z00 to be used as required. 0Z08 is spare shunt loco, no rostered duties.

timetables looking great so far, nice to see the layout being used as it was designed to, with minimal conflict, very enjoyable and gives KGX a run for its money

Paul, you need to renumber 1B78 that departs from Parcels. The scorers will get upset. lol! (Goods line)

or tick the 'use freight line speeds' box in its train characteristics tab.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Enjoying this timetable so far - got to 0645. Good memories as I started my railway career at Euston, when we still had proper loco-hauled trains (with locos on the front!) and lots of postal and parcel trains too :)

One thing - could I suggest in the next update that some TT Rules are applied to the sleeper ECSs to avoid them TRSing too early, given that there are "occupy until" times for sleeper berths. Not saying keep them until time, just a more prototypical layover.

Cheers

Rob

Hey
Really enjoying your timetable and have now got to 1330. Just got one surgestion, other than thoses all ready made, i just had 4B17 arrive at P9 and within 30 seconds of it arriving, his following working 4B22 gave me his TRTS. 4B17 wasn't even late arriving at P9, infact he was actually 2 minutes early into his platform. Realistically this needs a rule to prevent the departure being imediately aer he arrives. (i guess this is prob because its a class 4 arriving into a passenger platform and SimSig doesn't understand that hes actual a parcel train). I know passengers arent the quickest at getting on and off trains, but i would be very surprised if the postal workers were able to completely change the post on the train over in 30 seconds :D

Cheers
Nath

PS, just pressed the unpause from having written the previous message, and got a phonecall from the shunter at Down Carriage Shed.
he asked permission to let 5A50 enter. However 5A50 was suppost to enter the area at 0240 so is currently running almost 11 hours late. On closer inspection i saw that 5A50 has att rule that says '5A50 must appear 20 minutes after 5A501 leaves the area. Having then looked back at the time tables i see that there is also 5A501 (which is mention in the rule, which has obv caused 5A50 to be almost 11 hours late), but there is also 5A50U. Now due to the very helpful descriptions that you put, which have the engine number of the loco hauled passenger services, 5A50 has 85033 leading it, whereas 5A501 and 5A50U both have 82008 leading them. So is the rule suppost to be between 5A501 and 5A50U rather than 5A501 and 5A50?

Thanks, noted for update.
Sorry I haven`t put in any turn round rules for Euston itself, I was hoping there was a short cut to doing rules for all trains into Euston, as noted in my 2012 thread.
