I had to reinstall everything after uploading Rapport - it slowed the whole thing to a crawl! Run my PC with Vista. May be coincidence?

I've read this thread with interest as I use Vista Home Premium. I gave up with IE8 as compared with Google Chrome it's quite slow. I have AVG internet security 2012 and everything seems to run fine together, including regular Windows updates. I certainly haven't been aware of any of the problems mentioned in previous posts.
