Doncaster is not IECC so can be done, and it's a published fact that we intend to do it sometime, but no one is working on it at the moment. York IECC and Tyneside IECC can't be done; there are then three or four boxes north of Tyneside that could be done to connect to Edinburgh. I'm not aware of any plans to do them, though Edinburgh is coded to chain if they are. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Lots of CCTV crossings and the occasional loop for regulating, although there is a bit more track work around Morpeth. Log in to reply |

Yes I was working on the idea that any chained Sim would be "Newcastle" in a broad sense. " said: would it be possible to do tyneside before it became an IECC? Maybe but there is a big IF [we had the data] which we don't as far as I know. More likely we'd have to wait for Geoff to retire (OH and have the data)! Doncaster would a nice one to have as is controls Grantham, newark north gate and retford and routes to Sheffield, Leeds, Hull. i think so any way and not forgetting to york. what about West Coast routes I know we have got loads now but some of them would be nice if done. Rugby, Watford,Birmingham New street, Midland Main Line: know we got Trent, Sheffield, there so many to name sorry just a few surgestions. Paul Log in to reply |

theoretically, when (or if) derby, leicester and west hamps are released its possible to run the whole MML with doncaster it would make partial sense to actually split the sim like with three bridges, possibly with a north and south sim due to the size. simililarly each workstation at york (Y, CF, L, S)could be represented as an individual sim each. church fenton might be a boring one though :P could yorks OCS panel layout not be simulated? most of the data is available and it would certainly be more interesting than the current layout "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |
