If he was ejected from the train then I'd assume he must have been causing "Harassment, alarm or distress" to either passengers or staff. From Wikipedia Quote: Harassment, alarm or distress is a statutory offence in England and Wales. It is also a term of art used in sections 4A and 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 (which take their names from this expression). I'd say he's gotten off lightly in this case...if the Police got involved or were already involved and had arrested him he could be facing charges, a criminal record, a fine, etc. Admittedly, I don't know much about the case, but that's my opinion on it based on the info I currently have.
