Hmm, I'm not sure then. The add button at the bottom is the way to set a static (reserved) address for a particular device. I don't know why it is not active for you. But then I've never used that make of router so there could be something that needs enabling elsewhere first!! ( I also notice the rest of this form is blank, I would expect to see numbers in the start and end ip address, as well as a subnet mask and lan ip address. ) When you ipconfig/all, it will show all network adapters. the active one will have an ip address like 192.168.1.2 or similar, that will be the one you need. Inactive ones will show 0.0.0.0 hope this helps. you might want to google "static address on livebox" or similar. Log in to reply |

Whilst the external address will be unique to you, the lan addresses 192.168.* are reserved for local networks, and even if I knew your PC was (for example) 192.168.2.10, I wouldn't be able to access it from anywhere in the world other than your own router!
