I'm new to all this and wasn't sure where to post this, so my apologies if it's in the wrong place. I am playing Euston and it says in the manual that Train 0S26-1 uses the Up Carriage Siding neck which is not available in the 1990s so will need to be retimetabled by hand. Firstly, I have looked at all three eras and cannot for the life of me find the Up Carriage Siding neck. Possibly that's because I'm such a noob I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for. Secondly, any recommendations as to a suitable alternative route for this train. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Log in to reply |

It's here... ..and you're right, it only appears in 1960's and 1980's mode. My best suggestion is to use the simplifier (F8) to see which platforms are vacant during the period 0S26-1 needs to use it or run it down the Down Departure Line then back up the Up Engine Line 2 and stable it at Sig.52 until needed. Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply and I will certainly be trying your suggested solution. As it just needs to clear P15 while the ECS for 1S26 is berthed, I might make more sense to park it in one of the Backing Out Roads for as long as required. That saves the problem of getting across the throat and back. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
