Thanks to BarryM, NLL scrolly is in the downloads area in the Beta section. I haven't had the time to get the software complete so it's released as-is, warts and all. Enjoy.

Amazing, thank you! Does it chain to adjacent sims?

For years ive avoided the NLL sim, its quite complicated layout i could never get my head around. But as a scrolly is now available, i might give it another bash, specially as i can now see instantly where the lines go. Thank you for this. Richard Log in to reply |

Great news on the NLL scrolly beta being released but I got a small problem, in the folder there are 2 timetable files one winter 2003.wtr and .wtt but when I go into the sim and try to fire up the timetable it don't show one being there. Am I being a little dense here or is there something not quite right?

Ended up running it without a timetable at first, then opening (merge with current) the timetable from there and it works fine. The beta scrolly sim appears to be looking at Program Files / SimSig / NLL where it would usually be if it was a full install. Move your timetables there to pick them up.

Installed it OK & it works fine for me. The sim certainly looks better as a scrolly compared to the paged version. Many thanks to all concerned.

To Joe_T: Create a folder called NLL in the same directory as the scrolly NLL.exe file. Copy your timetables to the NLL folder you just created. When you click on New Game, the sim looks for the timetable files (.WTT and .WTR) in the new folder with the same name as the exe file. When you click on Load Game, that is when the scrolly sim looks in Program Files / SimSig / NLL for .SSG saved files. In Windows Explorer you may find the saved files listed under the compatibility tab. Apologies for not getting this right earlier, but the arrangement is not the usual one. Good luck.
