I've run this a handful of times now, always the same result. 5L31 reports "adverse change of aspect" at signal 7 on departure. Then remains on phone indefinitely after being told to "continue after contacting control". Route is cleared via routing points DE to signal 63 and signal 7 clears from Red to Green. No cancelling of the route is done prior to departure. Log in to reply |

Did the train running away alarm go of at any point?

Not that I noticed. Will play it again and see. Edit: No - no train running away. After TRTS, cleared to signal 63 via DE routing points. It accelerates to 20mph, then brakes at the platform end, getting straight on the phone. Signal remains yellow. saved game attached below Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Did anything happen during the time 5L31-1 arrived at P7 and the time of departure (2 hours)? Noted no platform number allocated in TT. This should not cause any problem. It may be related to a known bug with ACoA and signals with last wheel replacement. Edit: The train does depart as programed. Very odd, but does look like a bug of some sorts to me. Have reported this on bug board (#7163) with credit where credit is due.

This should not cause any problem.Nothing untoward happened in the time the Sim has run from the start. The train does not depart (from the signal, once it has called to report ACoA) for me for at least 30 minutes. Log in to reply |

To add: After a Sim restart using the same saved game, the same behaviour is experienced initially, but 5L31 then moves off after about 2 minutes on the 'phone.
