Recently been playing my timetable on Southampton and have noticed that, regardless of how I set the Track Circuit/Signal/Points failures, or how I set the Scenario Difficulty, I never ever get any of these failures. This is with the failure time length set to high, and max failures at various levels! Train delays occur yes, as do train failures, but never track failures. Any ideas? It seems to work fine on other sims, and other people have had failures when running my TT. Log in to reply |

Whether a TC or any other element will fail does depend on each element being coded to allow failures. The TCs may not be so coded. It's not timetable specific. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Peter Bennet said:Whether a TC or any other element will fail does depend on each element being coded to allow failures. The TCs may not be so coded. That's as may be, but this doesn't explain how I can play a whole scenario with NO failures at all, with failures set up high. Nor does it explain how other people get failures on the new version of Soton (failures worked properly on the old version)! It's as though Max Failures is set to "0" despite me setting it to various values. Log in to reply |

Hmm, failures seem to work on Westbury. Just new Southampton seems to be dud - the old version functions correctly.

Just to confirm, there are no failure's working on the new version of Southampton as it has been upgraded. But this will be ammended in a short period of time when more testing is done. Howard. Log in to reply |
