i might be a little pushy about this, But i now know that Preston PSB can be done on here , i have has access into the mainline box, and it looks quite a task, Im hoping that it can be done this year with a variety of timetables and freights with specials i know it sounds pushy but this is my fav station. My advice is not to be pushy, becuase it probably wont work. if no developers have an interest or available time to do it, it wont be done. thats not to say it would never be done, but it may not be a high priority. as an aside: a chainable 1979/80 timetable would be an interesting challenge. Each developer only has one pair of hands and a limited amount of time for SimSig at their disposal. It doesn't hurt to re-iterate that its just as much a hobby to us developers as if is for those that play it. The developers have jobs, and families which have to come before SimSig. We also have other hobbies too that require time and attention as well as SimSig so we do what we can when we can. And just for reference, it took me 5 years to complete the first release of South Humberside. I've then got another 2 and counting on the update which I am still currently working on.... If not, can you provide detailed photographs of the panel *and* be willing to do a fair amount of field research? Without that sort of data, a sim isn't going to happen. Log in to reply |

And that information Clive states will still not explain how half of the things actually work entirely, which requires the detailed Relay Interlocking diagrams, plus the ability to interpret them.
