Timetable Description...

quote:

Summer Saturday in the South West.

Train running is taken from Saturday 26th July 2008, passenger and freight workings. During the day there are several set swaps taking place at Bristol Temple Meads on local services. Platform allocations are ficticious, but services have tried to be platformed around each other.
It does get busy during the shift 24 hour shift, with 486 trains booked to pass through Bristol Panels control.

Notes;

Several London services start/terminate WSM
AXC terminate in P1 if a class 220 unit.
ECS units to/from SPM run via Bristol West Jn
ECS HSTs to/from SPM run via North Somerset Jn

Train Discriptions;

At the end of the train info you will find [FGW - DMU 090].
The first part is the company code, second is traction code, and finally train speed. So from the example above, the service is operated by First Great Western, traction is Diesel Multipule Unit, and has a top speed of 90 mph.
HSTs are assummed to be 125mph and so do not have a speed showing.

Company Codes;

CA - Charter Alliance
EWS - English, Welsh & Scottish
FGW - First Great Western
FL - Freightliner
NR - Network Rail
OE - Orient Express
XC - CrossCountry

Traction Codes;

D - Diesel Locomotive
DEMU - Diesel Electrical Multipule Unit
DMU - Diesel Multipule Unit
HST - High Speed TrainTimetable Discription...

Just having a quick play on this timetable, noticed 6M12 is due at Ashton Junction 5 minutes after he leaves! (Arr 00:35, Dep 00:30!)

Forgot to mention about 6M12 its official time through Bristol Parkway is 0009 [pass] so I adjusted the rest of the timings so it would appear. Ok late running, but it bulked out the early trains.

There are a few problems shown up using the analyse tab (under Tools 1), which could be fixed

One error I've noticed is in the TT description accompanying the post announcing the TT as being available.

It's spelt "multiple" not "multipule".

A lot of those are to do with sets terminating with no onward workings (eg in the High Level).

Also the run rounds at Avonmouth BHT show as needing fixing, but as mentioned in a section a few threads down, they work fine and not worth worrying about. Avonmouth Run Rounds

Plus the issue Sacro has mentioned about 6M12 above.

The only "fixable" one is 5M74 Pylle Hill needs to read xx57 not xx52. Plus I've notice some of the various 22x formations are set wrong to "very high light loco" and not "high commuter".

Tux apologises I've copied and pasted from what I'd written on the TT Description, and not brilliant at spelling...

Hi all, just gone through this after being recommended it and found a few possible errors with the timetable etc. Not an exhaustive list since I didn't bother creating a sticky for these events till I was well into it but if it is reviewed in future then it could possibly be looked into.

- I keep getting wrong platform at Bristol Parkway.
- 5C06 is timetabled for Platform 1 (P1) but the train's next run (2C06) is timetabled to depart P7 10 minutes later.
- 2C38 finishes at BTM (Bristol Temple Meads) on P8 but next run (5C38) is timetabled to depart from P10.
- 5M74-1 is timetabled to arrive at Pylle Hill before it is timetabled to depart BTM.
- After 10pm, both 2K43 and 2V94 terminate for the night on P1 at BTM which overflows the platform. Doesn't affect the running of other services left on the sim though.

It's also the first time I have had trains running through the Loading Hoppers but they won't go back through from South to North but remain "Moving at 0mph" so after an hour I ended up removing them via F2.

Known bug on Bristol sim, it's not TT related.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

For the Avonmouth Hoppers you can use Line 3 or the Loco-Release,
So the Train arrives, the Loco runs round and joins the Train.
Route the Train onto the Loco-Release (LR), and back to the Departure Roads and it can leave the BHT towards Filton on its planned Path.
If you route it on Line 3, you have to depart the Trains through the Arrival Roads.

The "Wrong Platform"-Message at Bristol Parkway is also a known Bug on the Sim.
