Yes Joe you are correct they are the cooling towers of the former Little Barford power station. However even when that picture was taken the power station had closed. It was used by Monier who received a flow of flyash from West Burton power station a couple of times a week & also occasionally dispatched loaded PCA tanks of cement.  20147+20159 being backed onto Toton TMD by a Cl.56 on 150587. I remember this shot very well. All the spotters on the bank at Toton that morning were talking about a pair of Cl.20s that had been 'tagged' by graphiti artists whilst being stabled overnight at Nottingham SD. Something in those days which had never been heard of. Sure enough later during that day the 2 locos were dragged to Toton TMD for the tags to be removed & I took this picture as they were being propelled into Toton TMD. Post has attachments.
