Have purchased NEScotland, Have downloaded the sim & License manager ... But where dose the License come from, is it the order number or transaction ID .... & how do you allocate the license on opening the sim & clicking on "allocate License to this machine, does nothing,

Hi John,
This is what I did and it worked..

I have downloaded the licence from the download section, the location is in the official software, download first system files. Then I have then downloaded the downloads from the mail that came from Geoff/Sim Sig after my payment was cleared. Once the Sim is downloaded you should be able to open it but not be able to do anything with it. As you open the Sim though there is the link at the bottom of the opening splash page which will take you to the license agreement/manager that you have already downloaded. You will then need to log on in to the license manager with your Sim Sig user name and password and then finally once you have done that you should be able to link to the machine that you are using.

Let me know how you get on.

Geoff

Hi Peter, thanks for the link. I have installed NE.Scot & the License manager, I have started & run the License manager but on opening there are no licenses to be seen. I then uninstalled NE.Scot & reinstalled it but still on opening the NE.Scot sim the only option is Exit or License Manager but on opening License Manager there is no License to be seen ... I have therefore no option but to exit the sim ...

Just a thought but if you went through the shop after say 7am GMT neither I nor Geoff would be around to manually allocate the licenses. The auto enrolling was still not fixed at 06.15 GMT when I last spoke with Geoff.

Hence why you have no actual license assigned yet- I alluded to that in a post about 23.00 GMT above. Or in the other thread.
