Recently while running Bristol in Modern mode,by mistake I tried to set where none is possible yet the route was set and the signal cleared. It will be clear from the following picture:

[/img]---EDIT:Sorry but I don't know how to embed pictures in the post yet.Can anyone outline the process?I'll try to email the picture separately to the developer team.

It is possible to set a route from SA37 to SA29 below Chittening Estate sdgs. This is despite their being no crossover at that location.I've tried it repeatedly and it always happens.I came across this while making a loco run-around from BHT.SA37 turns yellow as SA29 is red.I even tried cancelling the route and that too as per routine initiated approach locking at SA37 as the loco was on the track.

Another bug is at BHT itself.A class 6 freight shows as "moving at 0 mph" in F2 list. This is only while the freight is moving from left to right and not while its going right to left.

Khalid,
India.

Believing that I understand you correctly, the train is currently on the track just above the *2 and you need to run the loco around?

Select signal SA37 and route the train straight ahead upto SA27.
Once the train has passed signal SA30, set the route from that signal to SA42 and also from SA42 to SA48
Once the train has passed signal SA51, set the route from that signal to SA37.

The loco should have no problems in completing that move and then rejoining it's train (but at the other end) then you can send it wherever it needs to go.

Hope this helps!

Its ok.I did'nt have any difficulty in routing the loco.It was only that I pressed the wrong buttons and came across the bug that I've mentioned:

Ah! Just found what you originally meant, yes it would appear to be a bug. I was indeed able to set the route from SA37 to SA29, despite no actual route being available.

I have a suspicion that there is a coding error with the points, in that either there is supposed to be points either way or even perhaps the points are facing the wrong way or it is something to do with the points themselves.

Would appreciate one of the more experience SimSig users comments on this.

Then again, there is a chance that this could have either been fixed or could be fixed for the re-release of Bristol?!!

Not 100% sure, but think it may be to do with the 2 "eras". I had a glitch there once when SPaDing a train on wrong line. Something related to signals that are 'hidden' in the particular era being used, rather than a bug as such.
