After there was no sign or even word from Robbie at this year's Derby meet, I started wondering whether he was okay. I'd known Robbie for several years before his interest in SimSig, indeed it was I who introduced him to our sims in the first place. We originally got in touch when I started an online fan community forum for indie band Drugstore, of whom we were both big fans. Before long we were meeting up at gigs and we soon became good friends. For various other reasons, I didn't have a chance to try and make contact with him until last week, when I was rather perturbed to discover that both his phone numbers were defunct. Tonight I tried a web search - and it confirmed my worst fears: :( http://www.lastingtribute.co.uk/tribute/langton/3116320 I shall miss Robbie, we had some great times together. When I was working in Nottingham from 2001-2004, Derby where he and his partner Adam lived was just a stone's throw away. Log in to reply |

Although I never knew him, never met him or never even heard of him before, he was a fellow SimSig-er so may he Rest In Peace. My belated condolences go out to his family, friends and all who knew him.
