Evening all :) I'm planning to make a journey from portsmouth to Liphook tomorrow, however I will resume my return journey from Liss. If I buy a Open return to Liphook, is it ok for me to do the return journey from Liss? I asked the guy at the station, but all he said was 'I'll allow it' Thanks! Log in to reply |

" said:Evening all :)An open return doesn't really narrow down what type of ticket you are buying (Off peak return, anytime return.) Could you be a bit more specific? Provided the ticket purchased is for the higher cost route and is otherwise valid on the specific train then you should be OK. This is in the routing guide if it helps Where a journey is undertaken by an alternative route to that for which the ticket was originally purchased, and for which a higher fare applies, additional payment is required to enable the customer to make or complete their revised travel arrangements. Off peak Day return Portsmouth to Liphook £11.90: Liss £10.40. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: jetblast787 |

And both tickets allow break of journey on both the outward and return legs. Also there are no time restrictions on either ticket tomorrow as it's a Saturday.
