Me, Bazz and others were playing this sim. Auto failure was disabled as I was manually causing these. After about an hour, a windows popped up saying- Internal error:exception inOneSecondHi (EInvalidOperation:Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window) This has happened now, 3 times in swindid then the sim froze. Any theories? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Last edited: 11/03/2013 at 14:09 by vontrapp Log in to reply |

cant help you with this, but just for any future posts that relate to a specific released sim, each has its own area in the forum, rather than in the general comments and questions. :) Joe "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

The error is generated by Windows because the Sim was trying to do something Windows didn't like. The error message won't mean much to anyone unless you have access to the code and know what is happening in the OneSecondHi function i.e. Clive or Geoff. As for the error (EInvalidOperation:Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window), there are many reasons why Windows would create such an error. However, it would help to know what happening in the sim at the time of the error (a snapshot or a save game just before the error occurs is usually very helpful). The key is to find the event or sequence of events that cause the error to be generated so it can be reproduced. Once we know how to reproduce it, the issues are generally easy to fix. This is an error with the sim trying to focus on a train (IIRC stationary at a certain location) and it can't do what is being asked to do. This has been over come, so for the time being, will need to be patient and wait for a new version of the sim in the near future. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: BarryM |
