I'm on the verge of writing a small add-on TT for both versions of NLL (I plan to write the same timetable on each version (paged and scrolly) just in-case of any version inconsistency issues), but I have two quick questions to ask. The pertinent parts of the information I have only show passing times for Acton Main Line and Acton Wells Jn - therefore missing the actual passing time for Acton East Jn (although, yes, I am aware it is only on the other side of the road bridge (Horn Lane) at the London-end of Acton Main Line station). As the entry point from and the location onto the GWML is Acton East Jn itself, how should I handle this? Also, the information for all the trains shows a very brief stop at Willesden S.W.S. (arrival time and departure time is exactly the same (e.g.: arr 13:37 dep 13:37)), which I don't fully understand as I very much doubt these particular trains have a driver change there, nor even have a real reason to stop there - so how do I handle this? I guess I don't really need nor even want them to stop there, so I'll just make that a passing time instead(?). Assistance appreciated. As always, thanks in advance for replies. Sometimes a developer chooses an unsuiteable location for an entry point, either a TIPLOC that isn't mandatory, or sometimes an 'arbitrary' point relative to one. Either you file a bug and hope that it gets moved somewhere more sensible, or you have to work out (and insert) a suitable entry time for each train. Log in to reply |

I guess I don't really need nor even want them to stop there, so I'll just make that a passing time instead(?).That is most likely just a timetable error - whether an incorrect arrival time, an incorrect departure time, or it should have been a passing time. If it's a current schedule then perhaps look it up on one of those train times sites to see if it's changed recently. (One of the worst times to get electronic timetable extracts is in late December, ie at the timetable change. The major timetable change is followed by numerous minor timetable changes on a daily basis before settling down somewhat in the months afterwards).
